With Father’s Day this weekend, endless craft projects have a purpose! Plus, we love a homemade and thoughtful pressie over a shop bought one every day of the week so it’s a win, win…
Mini me 1 started school this year and loves practicing her hand writing at any opportunity. She’s forever writing me ‘books’ and asking for ideas for her stories. As we needed to think of a present for Father’s Day, I suggested we write a story all about a special day out we could take Daddy on, with the idea that we would incorporate some gifts in the book by sticking them in along the way. Her little eyes lit up! Writing, scissors and glue = happy five year old! Mini me 2 wanted to get involved too so she was in charge of colouring and Sellotape 😊
You may have seen before the stories written using chocolate bars for words. Here’s our take on this with a few added extras including gift cards bought at discounted gift cards website Zeek. I’ve only just discovered this site but have already saved loads by buying discounted gift cards to use at the shops that I already shop in regularly and restaurants that we eat at.
Zeek is Europe’s largest gift voucher marketplace. Shoppers can save money by purchasing gift vouchers at significant discounts and unwanted gift vouchers can be sold quickly and easily.
